1. What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of kamerameha.com (the "Site"): browsing the portfolio, playing the films, using the browser game and sending us a message. By using the Site you accept them. They do not govern production work — any film, commercial or music video we make for you is covered by a separate written agreement.
2. A portfolio, not an offer
The Site presents our work and lets you contact us. Nothing on it is a quote, a binding offer or a commitment to take on a project. We may change or remove any part of the Site at any time.
3. What you may and may not do
You may browse the Site and share links to it. You may not:
- copy, download, extract or republish the films, clips, stills, artwork, music or text, beyond ordinary private viewing or what the law allows;
- use any content from the Site to train, fine-tune or evaluate an artificial-intelligence model or to build a dataset. We expressly reserve our rights against text and data mining under art. 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790 and art. L122-5-3 of the French Intellectual Property Code;
- scrape the Site, probe its hosting, or interfere with its operation or with other visitors' use of it;
- use the Site for anything unlawful.
4. Intellectual property
The Site — its design, code, texts and the productions it presents — is protected by copyright. Kamerameha is the director, and on these productions also the director of photography, of the works shown. They appear here as our body of work, under the agreements in place with the artists, labels and producers concerned, whose own rights in the finished works are unaffected. Their names and marks identify the work and imply no endorsement beyond it.
No licence is granted to you other than to view the Site. Requests to reuse any content: write to us at the address in the legal notice.
5. Films and YouTube
Short muted previews are served from our own domain, so nothing is loaded from Google while you browse the Site. YouTube's player is loaded only at the moment you click a film to watch it; from that moment Google may set cookies and Google's own terms and privacy policy apply to that playback.
6. The game
The browser game at /game is offered for entertainment only. Your high score is stored in your own browser and is never sent to us. Its artwork and music were generated with AI tools — see the credits section.
7. Contacting us
You can write to us at the address on the About page. How we handle what you send is described in the privacy policy. Please do not send confidential material by email; ask us first and we will agree a secure route and, where useful, a non-disclosure agreement.
8. External links
The Site links to third-party sites (YouTube, social profiles). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
9. Availability, warranties and liability
The Site is provided as is. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that its content is complete or current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, loss of business or data, or for damage caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under French law — in particular for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or gross negligence, or for the non-waivable rights of consumers.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on the Site is the one that applies; the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live and may bring proceedings there. If you are in the United States, nothing in these terms limits rights you cannot waive under the law of your state. For businesses, the courts of the publisher's registered address have jurisdiction.
12. Language
These terms are published in French and English. In case of any difference, the French version prevails.
